Portals on a velvet sky...

Perhaps they are not stars, but openings in heaven, where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines upon us, thus they let us know they are happy and are with us forever.

Please pray for my friends in Medford, WI. and for Father Gerard and the parish family of Holy Rosary. Last night at 6:15 their beloved secretary, Audrey, died of cancer. She'd only been diagnosed in late July. I didn't know her very well, and had only been there twice, Oct. of 07 and April 08. The times Audrey and I visited were so sweet chatting in the office now and then. She was a very bright light on earth, and now I can only imagine her shining brilliantly moreso than ever from her own "portal" on a black velvet sky. She's now a mighty prayer warrior in heaven for her husband, Deacon Joe, and their children, Joey and Amanda. Please keep them in your prayers and if you should remember, please say a prayer for the blessed repose of Audrey's kind, generous and gracious soul.
