France, eldest daughter of the Church, come back to your Mother...

"Come back to me, with all your heart, don't let fear keep us apart. Long have I waited for your coming, Home to me and living deeply our new life." - Hosea- as sung by John M. Talbot

Those words seem fitting for France today. How our Blessed Mother has bathed our beloved "eldest daughter" in her tears, tears of joy, but mostly sorrow. I would love to visit France, and to to La Salette, Lourdes, and Lisieux, but that probably isn't to be, only if God wills. However, so many holy men and women come from France. So many died for the Faith, so many pray for us here in America, that we don't go down the road that France has gone down. But we are in great peril here, we have chosen a culture of death, not Life. We need very much to pray for France, and cry for ourselves and repent of sin, which causes heartache and so much sorrow to the Mother of God.

When I saw this large "M" across the entire map of France, my heart just let out a little gasp, and sigh of sadness. A country so blessed, has now refused such grace. We are in the 'same boat' I fear, and how many will awaken from their slumber and call out to Our Lady, for her help, intercession and copious prayers for our salvation? We, the few, the faithful must carry Her Banner, damp with Her tears, mingled with our own, and pray for the conversion of sinners and for deeper conversion of Her priest sons, and religious daughters, and for many vocations. The time is short.

Our Lady has told us over all of these years what we must do. How we can live as lights in a darkened world, showing the way of salvation to all. We must heed Her voice. We must love, adore and trust in the Mercy of our Lord, praying for those who don't love, adore or trust in God's mercy. We must join our sufferings to those of Our Mother. To offer up our pains, emotional and physical for souls, souls lost in sin here on earth, and the Holy Souls desiring union with Christ who are languishing in purgatory, desiring only union with their beloved Lord, who have no one to pray for them.

Dearest Lady, our most precious, weeping Mother, hear our prayers and help us to grow in holiness, to strive to become saints, so that one day, all weeping will cease, and we will behold the Holy Face of Jesus with you, Our Mother, forever. Pray for France, our "Big Sister," and for peace in our world. Amen.

This is largely thanks to the lies of Voltaire, the libertine.

Great blog – thank you guys for sharing more about the spiritual and current needs of France.

I just wanted to alert your readers to a prayer movement that’s been going on for the past dozen years or so led by the French ministry Objectif France. For the past three years, the campaign Pray for France (in English) has been translating their 21-day prayer guide with current prayer topics for each day. Pray for France allows English speakers to pray alongside their French brothers and sisters during the three weeks before Easter and it’s FREE for those who visit the website www.PrayforFrance.org and register… All the information is on the site…!
