Of course we love Jesus... but I am thinking that you meant JOSEPH here as we would not ask Jesus to pray for us, and we would not wish him and Mary a happy wedding anniversary.
Hi Susie, thank you for visiting my blog and commenting on 'Our Lady of the Southern Cross'.
I didn't know it was the memorial of the marriage of Joseph & Mary - it wasn't written in my scripture diary - the picture you have posted is lovely. God Bless, Elena :)
Thank you for coming by, too. I love your blog. I only found out yesterday that it was the wedding memorial of St Joseph and Our Blessed Mary. I read it again in a book I found here at the library of St Benedict Center (on devotion to St Joseph)and I'd never even heard of their wedding memorial either. Learning new things all the time. Isn't the Catholic Church wonderful?!! So deep and vast. Such treasures to be found!
Not 100 people in the United States hate the Roman Catholic Church, but millions hate what they mistakenly think the Roman Catholic Church is. -- Bishop Fulton J. Sheen
I returned to the "First Pre-denominational Church of Christ," (as my husband brilliantly 'dubbed' it) aka: the Catholic Church in Dec. 2004, after my husband told me he wanted to go back to the "faith of his youth." The decision to swim across the Tiber has cost dearly, but has been worth it all! AND we are new grandparents of twin boys this summer, 2010!
