Susie:) I wrote these questions on another blog and hope that you also can enlighten those of us who are not Americans.
I have been listening to the Democratic Convention and what the Democrats are saying. Is America a third world country? Do the majority of Americans have no health care? Are the majority of Ammericans living on or just below the poverty line?
Has the American dream become an American nightmare?
Because listening to the politicians one has to think that living in Ethopia would be better than living in America!
For many non American's it would be hard to tell what life is like in REAL America rather than listen to the 'spin'..Is life in America that bad?
Not 100 people in the United States hate the Roman Catholic Church, but millions hate what they mistakenly think the Roman Catholic Church is. -- Bishop Fulton J. Sheen
I returned to the "First Pre-denominational Church of Christ," (as my husband brilliantly 'dubbed' it) aka: the Catholic Church in Dec. 2004, after my husband told me he wanted to go back to the "faith of his youth." The decision to swim across the Tiber has cost dearly, but has been worth it all! AND we are new grandparents of twin boys this summer, 2010!
