A Catholic Nursery Rhyme...

Mary had a little Lamb ,
more pure than whitest snow;
And everywhere that Mary went,
The Lamb was sure to go.
He followed her to school one day
and there the Lamb remained
but Mary thought he was with
her, until she called his name
Then Mary journeyed back to find
her Lamb was safe and sound
There inside His Father's House
Her little Lamb was found
"Why does the Lamb love Mary so?"
The eager children cry;
"Why, Mary loves the Lamb, you know,
"The teachers did reply.
