A "techno savvy" Grandmother's blog...
I have been visited this week by a lovely Grandmother who also has a delightful Catholic blog. She actually has 3 blogs! Stop by and say "hello" and read her precious story of faith, hope and family. God bless you and yours, Maryellen.
Im flabbergasted! Thank you for the generous compliments. And may God bless you and yours, dear Susie.
You are a very prolific blogger, and a very effective Evangelist for the Faith of the Early Church Fathers which is still the same Catholic Faith today.
I love blogging because I meet so many lovely people like yourself.
I've met some great people and have made dear friends in the past 1.5 years blogging. In fact, if you're watching EWTN tonight, TJ(aka: Russ Rentler) and his wife, Deborah are going to be on The Journey Home with Marcus Grodi. Hope you can watch or catch an encore program. It's replayed during the week at various times. They have a fantastic story and Russ is the most prolific blogger and so witty and brilliant. He's on my link list: Tiber Jumper. :)
By the way, I'm so humbled by your accolades, Maryellen. Thank you so much, but it's not hard for me to write about WHAT and WHO I love. Jesus and the Church Jesus established! The Eucharist surely is the source and summit! It's so great to be back Home! I have to thank my son, Justin, for convincing me to blog. He was right, he knew his mom,and that I'd take to it like a duck to water. Thank you for your kind words. YOU'RE a dear heart!
Not 100 people in the United States hate the Roman Catholic Church, but millions hate what they mistakenly think the Roman Catholic Church is. -- Bishop Fulton J. Sheen
I returned to the "First Pre-denominational Church of Christ," (as my husband brilliantly 'dubbed' it) aka: the Catholic Church in Dec. 2004, after my husband told me he wanted to go back to the "faith of his youth." The decision to swim across the Tiber has cost dearly, but has been worth it all! AND we are new grandparents of twin boys this summer, 2010!
