Looking for a good read to get through the dog days of summer?...

These are a few great ones to be found here.

City of God - Unabridged - St. Augustine
15 Days of Prayer - Saint Catherine of Siena
Orthodoxy - SC - G. K. Chesterton

i just pulled out Chesterton's orthodoxy again and started reading it. I never finished it the first time. I hear it's a classic and Phillip Yancey, protestant writer, says its his fav.

I've never read any of these, but hope to do so. I've been reading some great books. I read St Augustine Confessions, and St Catherine of Sienna Dialogues...and nothing of GKC. We gave our son Apostle of Common Sense, but haven't heard from him. That's another story. SMU must have been far more liberal than I guessed...I think it really changed our son's political views!
