the seed of Christians is still found
on holy, sacred, ancient ground
the blood of martyrs' cries resound
but I wonder, do we hear
those whose knees n'ere did bow
to any man or golden cow
are martyred still and call us now
but I wonder, do we hear
martyrs for us still intercede
giving us all the strength we need
whether shunned by family or called to bleed
but I wonder, do we hear
their call to rise courageously
to defend our faith from heresy
to live the Truth so the blind may see
I pray we have ears to hear
