This is just a quick post to say "thank you" to the 5 dear souls who were able to come to the inaugural meeting for RECON. It was so great to meet you Jan, finally in person, and to have Larry, Marilyn & Roger and Peggy come. Peggy, thanks for the delicious punch that kept us quenched, and Jan, thanks for the cupcakes, too! It was such a wonderful time. It sounds like there will be a few more coming for the November meeting, so we look forward to meeting others who have retuned Home with the joy of the Lord burning so brightly in their hearts. Rich and I hope to have this be a time to build friendships and support each other. We're confident that this will take place as the need is great for building community with like-minded brothers and sisters, on fire for the faith, the Truth, and the solid, unchangeable doctrine of the Church. We welcome anyone who also may be searching or thinking about Catholocism, so please let anyone know who is curious. We hope to have Father Frank Jindra, one of the priests with Pro Sanctity Movement, come and speak to our group for the January or February meeting. We hope to see you all soon!
