Rapture or Left Behind?

I got a book awhile back called "Will Catholics be Left Behind?" Seemed like a good book, just too heady for me to really understand.

It's funny how the idea of the rapture first came from here-the UK-but I never heard of it until afew years ago.
It isn't so much that it isn't in Scripture-it contradicts Scripture, so how do people twist their thinking around enough to believe it?

Hi SB and WSNS...

Glad you both stopped by the blog. I know people from our former church that have read all the Left Behind series of books and basically treat them like they're the "rest of the bible"...added on after Revelation! I never bought into the rapture stuff...pre trib post trib mid trib it never did 'sit well' in my soul. I always saw that we're to suffer as Jesus did, not be immune from suffering just because "he paid the price." There sure is some strange doctrines floating about out there. THANK GOD for the Catholic Church and her blessed AUTHORITY!

PAX,
